No. Suspected asbestos-containing material in a pre-1980s home has to be tested and, if confirmed, removed by a licensed abatement contractor. It can't go in a standard roll-off dumpster.
Do I need a permit to have a dumpster on my demolition site?
In Augusta-Richmond County, a dumpster placed entirely on private property — a driveway or job site — generally doesn't need a permit. If it needs to sit in the street or right-of-way, that requires Augusta's Right-of-Way Encroachment Permit through the Augusta Engineering Department.
